Community Projects in Gosport

In 2016, Age Concern Gosport was awarded a grant of £8,956 from the Big Lottery Fund to implement the ‘Live Life for Today & Plan for Tomorrow’ project. The project provided information on sensitive ‘end of life’ topics.

A team of volunteers was recruited and a range of events were held on topics such as will writing, funeral wishes, and care and support at the end of a loved one’s life. The project delivered four outreach events and twenty presentations across Gosport. Some 430 Gosport residents benefited from and engaged with the project.
